You're Being Asked to Make Important Decisions During One of the Most Difficult Times of Your Life.
When a loved one experiences a life-changing health event, families suddenly find themselves responsible for decisions they never expected to have to make,
Questions begin piling up:
- What should we be asking the doctors?
- Is rehabilitation the right next step?
- What care will be needed at home?
- Are we overlooking something important?
- How do we coordinate all of this?
- What happens next?
Medical professionals provide treatment,
But families are often left to navigate the journey alone.
The Cost of Confusion Can be Significant
Many families struggle because:
- Medical information is difficult to understand.
- Care transitions are complicated.
- Important questions go unasked.
- Family members receive conflicting information,
- Caregivers become overwhelmed and exhausted.
The result is unnecessary stress, uncertainty and fear, during an already difficult situation.
Not because families don't care.
Because no one is helping them connect the dots!
The Hardest Part Often Isn't the First Week. It's Month Three.
In the first days after a crisis, help is everywhere - doctors, hospital staff, case managers and discharge planners, chaplains and well-meaning family members, friends and neighbors. Everyone shows up.
Then, somewhere between 90 and 180 days out, something shifts.
The hospital has moved on, The insurance case is "closed", Friends and neighbors have returned to their own lives. The "circus" has left town,
But, your family is still living it - managing a long recovery process, making decisions no one warned you about while watching for setbacks to your loved one that may or may not occur. The anxiety doesn't go away.
This is the most neglected window in the entire healthcare system. We built EverNest Healthcare to make sure no family faces it alone.

Real Families - Real Life - Real Results
The Executive
The 53 year-old CFO of a Fortune 1000 Company suffered a stroke at the office. Despite a first-class senior executive healthcare benefits program, his spouse suddenly faced multiple recommendations from various treating physicians, rehabilitation decisions, insurance claim denials, long term disability concerns and financial uncertainty about the future of the family, EverNest Healthcare helped her see through the noise, organize the options, identify resources and create a roadmap that provided her with confidence in her decisions for the next stage of her husband's recovery.
The Modern Family
The 80 year-old widow, mother of 3, grandmother of 9 and "Nana" of 2 had been living happily and independently in her Florida condominium for over a decade and still playing nine holes of golf three times a week with the "Nine-Holer's" in her community when an unfortunate slip and fall in the shower made her suffer a traumatic brain injury. Her adult children still all lived "up north" in differing states. The siblings had communication issues between them and they all struggled to understand home care, safety concerns and long term planning. EverNest Healthcare helped the family improve communications between each other, coordinate visits and decisions and move forward with confidence so that Mom could continue to recover at home and eventually return to the golf course.
The Firefighter Fiance
The 28 year-old Firefighter was on his way home after completing a 24-hour shift and, being exhausted, forgot to fasten the seatbelt on his proud new purchase, a fire-engine red luxury pickup truck. He was ejected through the windshield of his vehicle after being rear-ended by an 18-wheel semi-trailer whose driver was impaired due to sleep deprivation while driving a load cross-country. The firefighter was engaged and six months from his wedding date when injured. He suffered traumatic brain injury (TBI) and multiple medical trauma. After spending six weeks in the hospital recovering from surgery, he was transferred to an out-of-state, world class Rehabilitation Hospital for further recovery. His parents and had to coordinate long term planning, continuous long distance travel between home and the Rehab hospital and live on and off in hotels. The stress and uncertainty was overwhelming. EverNest Healthcare was able to help the family untangle the complex knot of clinical care and aid in coordinating the eventual alignment of logistics that reduced confusion, improved the outcome and decreased the emotional and administrative burden on the family that allowed planning for the wedding to continue. The young firefighter was eventually able to walk his bride down the aisle (aided by a walker) as their wedding day proceeded as planned.
